The Gunflint Trail

The two-lane Gunflint Trail highway winds 57 miles inland from Grand Marais to Saganaga Lake at the Canadian border. Originally a footpath, it's now a paved route that leads through forested terrain to lodges, outfitters and trails that provide access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
