Midwest Living Review
Fill your cart at The Wedge with bulk items, such as rice, cereals and beans, or head to the deli for healthy grab-and-go items. Throughout the store you'll find signs that tell about the local farmers who have produced the foods on the shelves and in the cases. When you check out, your receipt will tell you the percentage of your purchase that was locally grown. The Wedge members own one of the oldest local certified organic farms serving the Twin Cities and run a nonprofit program, Organic Field School, to offer education and other services to the organic farming community. The Wedge is also cofounder of the Midwest Food Connection program that teaches school children about locally grown foods. The store is open MondayFriday 9am10pm; Saturday and Sunday 9am9pm.
