Midwest Living Review
One of the best restaurants in Minneapolis and, arguably, the country, puts an inventive twist on comfort food, transforming something simple like spaghetti into Tagliatelle with Foie Gras Meatballs. Chef-owner Isaac Becker's food has earned consistent praise from the country's top foodie magazines and newspapers as well as several James Beard Award nominations. Cheeseburgers and buttermilk fried chicken with bagna caude (a flavorful sauce) appear on the menu next to creative dishes like Chinese fried eggs or veal tongue with cold soba noodles. Entree prices range from $5 to $35. Located in the busy downtown warehouse district, the restaurant offers a cozy wood and brick-paneled dining area. Guests receive attentive service while selecting from the seasonal menu.
