Midwest Living Review
Similar to those in other towns, the Lanesboro Farmer's Market features a variety of local food purveyers setting up shop in the city's riverside park. Unique to this market are some of the specialties made possible in part by the strong Amish and farming tradition in the region. Highlights include grass-fed beef and pork, perennials, rhubarb soap, homemade cereal, pies, jams, jellies, lefse, krumkake and rosettes, and our favorite--cashew crunch made simply with butter, sugar and cashews. The market runs Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings from May through October.
