Midwest Living Review
The Legacy Grille restaurant bustles within a clubhouse housing a golf pro shop and headquarters for one of Minnesota's most-lauded golf courses. It's also one of the most popular dining destinations on the Cragun's Resort property. Lunch and dinner crowds catch up on sports around the bar or sit in the dining area facing the scenic Audubon-certified course. Even late diners will spot duffers heading past the ninth hole while making the most of summer's longest days.
Touted sandwiches include the grilled Reuben and ale-battered walleye; all come with addictive crispy homemade potato chips. Salad choices take in a black-and-blue (Cajun tenderloin, blue cheese, tomatoes and crispy onions) and a chicken with blue cheese, pecans, apples and poppyseed dressing. Dinner guests can order from expanded choices like barbecue spareribs, pan-fried walleye, tenderloin medallions and a build-your-own pasta bowl. The Legacy also serves prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 5 p.m.
