Midwest Living Review
Good luck trying to slow down excited kids on this fun-filled mini golf course. Whether they’re scrambling up a rocky terrace toward a pirate in a hammock or rushing toward a ship with a hidden hole on board, little ones keep busy eagerly seeking the next challenge and pirate-theme surprise.
Both 18-hole rounds, the Captain’s Course and Blackbeard’s Challenge, have interpretative panels at each hole with historical facts about real pirates. For instance, did you know that female pirates existed? Or that Blackbeard the Pirate had 14 wives?
The Blackbeard course includes a cannon that occasionally booms. The Captain’s Course claims the most golf ball casualties with its tricky cave hole beneath a waterfall. A round on each course takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and most kids will probably clamor to do both. Prices per course are $7.95 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 4 to 12, or save a few bucks by doing the whole 36-hole adventure for $13.95 per adult and $12.95 per kid.
