Midwest Living Review
If you're into history, grab a map from the Marquette County Historical Museum ($2) and take a self-guided walking tour of the business district. Marquette has done a wonderful job preserving a number of its historic buildings. One of the tour highlights is the Marquette County Courthouse. Built more than 100 years ago, its claim to fame was the filming of the 1959 courtroom drama Anatomy of a Murder, starring Jimmy Stewart and Lee Remick. Another favorite stop is the old City Hall, which was restored in the 1970s and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Even if you're not up for the walking tour, you'll find the map handy as you're driving around town.
