Siren Hall is the latest project of chef Mike Peterson, who also owns the popular and highly rated Lulu's Bistro in Bellaire. In this Elk Rapids establishment, bare rafters, concrete dividers and big windows accent an open dining room where oysters, mussels and clams are favored appetizers of the daily crowd. There's also a creamy pate of Lake Michigan whitefish (and try the beer-battered whitefish sandwich). For meat lovers, entrees include braised pork shank as well as beef brisket with a side of white cheddar whipped potatoes. Area growers supply Siren Hall's greens, vegetables and fruits. Lunch and dinner entrees from $11 to $33.
