And the owners, based in Chicago, knew that when they opened this New Buffalo shop in 2007.The specialty here is the cheesy caramel popcorn, a mix of salty and sweet without being too much of either. There are 16 other flavors to try, too. Samples are available. And when you find your favorite flavor, a box is $2. Popcorn not your thing? Italian ice and a small candy selection (Slo-Pokes, taffy) also are offered in this tiny shop. You can sit and eat your purchases on the benches outside -- perfect for people watching on New Buffalo's main tourist drag.
