In downtown Bellaire, the only other building as sleek and contemporary as this eatery is Lulu's Bistro. Must be a family esthetic. Moka is the creation of Bill and Cathy Peterson, and Bill's brother Mike owns Lulu's. Moka's offers expansive outdoor seating as well as a small dining room that's favored by the espresso-and-free-Wi-Fi crowd in the morning and those interested in artisan pizzas and light meals later in the day. The mostly Shakespearean-theme pizza menu includes offerings such as the "Midsummer Night's Dream" composed of, among many ingredients, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, asparagus and goat cheese. Cubanos and a BLT with avocado are on a sandwich menu supplemented by several salads. Salads and sandwiches under $9; pizzas $8.50 to $22.
