Caffe Tosi

Caffe Tosi's busy, eclectic interior is decorated with vintage-style posters and whimsical holiday decorations (red hearts in February; patriotic bunting in July). In addition to amazing baked goods (try the almond croissant), Caffe Tosi serves quiche, sandwiches, salads and soups. Order at the counter from a large menu board and then dine inside or outside on pleasant, shady, wrought-iron tables. Bread products are all fresh-baked next door at the Bit of Swiss bakery (also owned by Caffe Tosi). And to our mind, the bread is the best part of a meal at Caffe Tosi. The cafe prides itself on its good coffee and fresh, local produce, meats and cheeses, and all of that is true. But we'll remember our chicken salad sandwich for the delicious focaccia bread it was served on. Caffe Tosi also serves herbal ice tea, fruit smoothies, beer and wine. Sandwiches cost about $7.
