Liberty, The James Inn You don't have to feel guilty about sleeping in church when you stay at the James Inn. The red brick bed and breakfast was the St. James Catholic Church from 1913 until the congregation outgrew it in 1981. Today, the inn religiously attracts Valentine weekenders, honeymooners and others visiting nearby Kansas City attractions.
