Midwest Living Review
Moon Marble Company's gray building isn't impressive from the outside, but inside, the sheer array of marbles impresses. Choose from Bengal Tiger and leopard-patterned marbles, iridescent or plain green marbles, faraway galaxies or the colors of Monet's water lilies. For a real treat, step into the back room where co-owner Bruce Breslow handcrafts marbles with a blowtorch. But marbles aren't the only draw. Boomers will love browsing the multicolored kites, Hula Hoops, classic Etch-A-Sketches, multicolored dice, Frontier Log play sets or Fiddlestix. The store is crammed to the gills, almost to the point that shopping is uncomfortable, so allow an hour to really see it all, especially if you're truly gift hunting. In the summer, call ahead to find out when Breslow will demonstrate marble making.
