Titanic:The Artifact Exhibition

May 23 - September 7, 2015

In addition to exciting animals, historic exhibits, and engaging interactives, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is thrilled to host Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Running May 23 through September 7, 2015; guests can experience the RMS Titanic in this truly immersive exhibit. Titanic:The Artifact Exhibition takes you on a journey back in time to experience the legend of the Titanic like never before. The galleries feature real artifacts recovered on the ocean floor along with room re-creations and personal stories; each highlighting a different chapter in the compelling story of Titanic’s maiden voyage. Riverboat Twilight

May 24 - October 30, 2015

Memorial Day signals the end of spring and the beginning of fun on the river. The Riverboat Twilight, docked in LeClaire IA, begins her 2015 season on May 24 and offers two-day overnight cruises on the Upper Mississippi River until the end of October. The Riverboat Twilight is the only place you can hear true river stories told by a Captain with over 30 years of experience, get up close and personal with hundreds of majestic bald eagles, pelicans, cormorants and herons and find yourself genuinely relaxed for the first time in a long time. It is truly transformative travel.


Des Moines Arts Festival

June 26 - 28, 2015

Features the best visual artists in the country. Catch interactive arts-related activities. Live music. Film. And performing arts. Held the same weekend as ArtFest Midwest: 'The Other Art Show.'


Lyons Farmers Market

July 1 - August 29, 2015

Finally Fridays

July 3, 2015

4th of July Festival

July 4, 2015

Clinton 4th of July Festival was founded on the belief of celebrating our great country and giving back to the community we love. We strive to offer a family oriented FREE one day festival and parade each year. (563) 243-4000;


80/35 Music Festival

July 10 & 11, 2015

Catch a show on stages set in the streets of Western Gateway Park. Nearly 40 acts perform. See indie headliners. Hip-hop acts. Alt-country and funky fun bands. 80/35 is made for music fans of all ages and genres. Much of the music is absolutely free, including regional and local acts.


Live Music at the Winery

American Queen Docks in Clinton

July 22; August 2; September 6, 16 and 30, 2015

The American Queen will visit Clinton on five dates this summer, on Wednesday afternoons beginning in July.  The American Queen passengers are invited to enjoy tours around the Clinton area.  This is a collaborative effort among many local organizations including the Windmill Cultural Center in Fulton, the Curtis Mansion, the downtown Clinton shops, the Sawmill Museum and more. This is a great opportunity for the Clinton area to show our community pride and welcoming spirit! Iowa State Fair

August 13 - 23, 2015

The single largest event in the state of Iowa. One of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. The fair annually attracts more than a million people from all over the world. Catch fair fever with popular foods on-a-stick.

Fun in the Sun Car Show

August 16, 2015

The Clinton Area Rod Club hosts an annual Rod & Custom Car Show. The event draws more than 150 vehicles to Clinton. Vintage autos, custom cars, trucks and motorcycles are displayed in an open, grassy area near Hy-Vee's parking lot. Hy-Vee provides a concession stand. (563) 242-4124;


Live Music at the Winery

Enjoy spectacular views, light bites and live music at Wide River Winery. Jordan Danielsen plays from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. A native of Denver, Colorado, but raised in the Iowa heartland on the banks of the Muddy Mississippi, Jordan Danielsen grew up with guitar in hand and a harmonica on his neck. He has spent over a decade hosting open mics, performing in wineries, casinos, pubs, restaurants, festivals and everywhere imaginable from Madison, WI to St. Louis, MO. No outside beverages allowed.
