Missouri Wineries

Opening wine bottles

To visit the Missouri wineries featured in our Vintage Drives article in the September/October 2003 issue, follow State-94 west from Defiance on the north side of the Missouri River then cross the river on State-19 south into Hermann and continues back east along State 100. Several wineries are located near or along the Katy Trail, the nation's longest rails-to-trails bicycle route.

Wineries are listed in order of location if you travel the wine road as described above. All wineries offer free tasting and ship their wines to several states (order by phone or on-line). Most have gift items available. Several stage special events throughout the year. Information on these is available on winery web sites.
