Midwest Living Review
This elegant, artfully decorated inn is an 1823 Federal-style house once occupied by a well-known local wagon-maker. The current owner restored the building in 1993, opening an inn on the Old National Road in the heart of Indiana's Antique Alley. An arched brick row house on the National Register of Historic Places, it has five spacious rooms for guests, with quilt-draped antique brass beds and amenities such as Jacuzzis and fireplaces. A discriminating collector, the innkeeper decorated this place with antique treasures and original art. The grounds include five fragrant, colorful gardens with birdbaths, wren houses, sculptures and seating areas that can be lit at night. You'll be made to feel right at home by the warm sense of hospitality at The Lantz House. And don't skip breakfast -- the lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious! From $101.
