Midwest Living Review
This beautiful building in Richmond's Historic Depot District is filled with interesting antiques, both large and small. There's a huge selection of vintage hardware, such as doorknobs and cabinet pulls. The shop's glass-domed cases showcase coins, cameos, Native American jewelry, World War I weapons and watches from the 1860s through the 1960s. You'll find furniture from many periods, including large salvaged pieces.Indiana painters feature prominently in the impressive collection of original artwork. When we shopped here, the landscapes and still-life paintings included pieces by J. Sloan ($750), William McKendre Snyder ($2,800) and Catherine Armstrong ($1,450).Not everything on display is for sale, which can be a little confusing. Don't get too attached to those historic advertising signs from Richmond, for example -- the owners are keeping those.
