Midwest Living Review
Located on the courthouse square in Rockville, the Old Jail Coffee House bills itself as "totally recycled." The condiment station is an antique piano, and the walls are decorated with metal gears and vintage posters. The shabby-chic decor -- and extremely friendly service -- make this a cozy place to sip a latte. Unfortunately, the coffee and food don't live up to the great atmosphere. We found the hazelnut latte to be watery and tasteless, and the so-called cherry "scone" was just a strangely shaped muffin. If you come here looking for big-city coffeehouse quality, you'll be disappointed. Fortunately for the Old Jail Coffee House, it has the only commercial espresso machine in the county.
