Midwest Living Review
Fine craftsmanship fills the showroom in downtown Madison. Whether you're there to admire the tables and chairs or the locally produced art that hangs on the walls, you'll be impressed at the quality. We visited in mid-April, when the store was running a semiannual sale, and we were amazed at the reasonable prices. Many were marked down 30-50 percent, meaning you could get a handmade kitchen set for as little as $600. Though they are beautiful, the three-plank hardwood cherry and walnut tables also are made for everyday use, with tung oil and urethane finishes to ensure it won't take on water rings from glasses. Tables from the artistic collection are designed to showcase each piece of wood, and a "curly cherrywood wow table" uses a hardwood unique to southeast Indiana. Choose from pieces in the showroom, or design your own. The shop also will deliver.
