Midwest Living Review
Painted on the corner store's brick wall is a half-block-long mural of people from all walks of life strolling a small-town street. Inside Lifestyles, there's something for everyone pictured in that mural. The rambling store displays merchandise from bath soaps ($7.99 a bar), jewelry, kids' toys, dog collars and greeting cards to garden decor, kitchen gear, cutesy beach cover-ups and home accents. It's easy to burn time here without realizing it because there is so much to consider. Be careful or you'll pick up a thing or two you never knew you wanted, or needed. Like a pair of sun glasses, wind chimes, imported flavored coffee beans or flip-flops. Clothes lovers can't resist the innovative Switch Flips, a snazzy, heeled flip-flop shoe base ($50) with interchangeable tops of braided leather, paisley patterned straps or a daisy bloom ($13 each).
