At this 12-acre creativity park, visitors become artists, drawing, painting and making jewelry. Created to provide employment for out-of-work artists during the Great Depression, the Indianapolis Art Center remains true to its original mission by hiring professional artists to teach the many -- and varied -- classes offered here.
