Midwest Living Review
The 40-gate terminal opened with a bevy of post-9/11 security features, plus a wealth of shopping and dining--great news for the 8.1 million passengers who visit the airport each year. The Indy 500 Grill displays race memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Shopping highlights include Vera Bradley, Brooks Brothers, Brookstone and Cultural Crossroads, a museum gift store that sells merchandise from eight local stops, including the Art Center and zoo. If you'd rather not add loot to your luggage, check out the $3.9 million in artwork scattered throughout the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified building. And since many shops are located before security, you don't even need a ticket to see them.
