Midwest Living Review
Cited by staff as the "happiest place in Indiana," Silver in the City is a fun, upbeat department store in the heart of Indianapolis. The store focuses on home accessories, kitchen items and locally made jewelry. The result is an eclectic mix of high-end cookbooks and kitchenware, designer candles, regional books and unusual gifts for that hard-to-shop-for someone. Best of all, the store doesn't take itself too seriously. Several unusual gag gifts, such as Girth Control (chocolate bars wrapped to look like birth-control packets), will make even the grumpiest person smile for a moment.
