Midwest Living Review
The Canterbury Hotel draws a well-heeled crowd and proudly displays 4-Diamond ratings from AAA dating back to 2006. These ratings say something, but they weren't reflected during our stay. The queen-size room was extremely compact, had a broken outlet, and a clogged drain in the bathtub. The rooms are pleasantly furnished, but small things like peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, evidenced a lack of upkeep. On the plus side, the building is on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in the midst of some of Indy's finer restaurants. However, if you're hoping for perfection, we'd encourage you to consider your options. If not, this hotel will serve your needs just fine. Rooms rates start at about $129.
