Midwest Living Review
Take advantage of the walls of windows or the patio at Hagen's Club House Restaurant, which has views of the perfectly landscaped rolling hills of the Donald Ross Golf Course. A 15-minute shuttle ride from the West Baden Springs Hotel brings visitors to this restaurant, bar and pro shop alongside the golf course. After walking through the pro shop, you'll arrive at the tavernlike restaurant featuring a large wooden bar in a brightly lit room. Service is friendly, and the food good but not great. The menu features traditional American sandwiches, steaks, salads and appetizers. Try the Black n' Bleu Salad ($13.95); it had flavorful steak strips, fresh crumbled blue cheese over romaine lettuce, onion and tomato. The tossed pear and cranberry salad ($10.95) came with spring greens, chopped nuts and dried cranberries tossed in a light raspberry dressing, but the canned pears ruined it for us.
