Midwest Living Review
This well-maintained, updated hotel takes advantage of its prime downtown location with rooms that are fine but seem a little pricey for Fort Wayne (our midweek spring stay was $119 a night), though rooms start from $99 a night. The front desk staff was great, the size of our guest room was fine, the linens were comfortable and updated, and the rooms have big flat-screen TVs (though few channels beyond the 4 flavors of ESPN and the basic CBS, NBC, ABC). The bathroom had all-white subway tile and big fluffy white towels; the walls are a pleasant butter-yellow color. The room also had a large working desk, comfortable desk chair and free wi-fi. Patrons can take advantage of the newly updated fitness center and swimming pool, and the USA Today is delivered free to your door. In the morning, skip Hilton's overpriced $18 breakfast buffet and order off the menu.
