Midwest Living Review
Not to be confused with the franchised Guesthouse Inn just up the road, Don Hall's Guesthouse Hotel and Conference Center is strictly locally owned and operated. Although the decor could use some updating, room sizes are extremely generous and conveniently include both interior and exterior entrances. The standard $79 single-occupancy rate seems more than fair considering it includes vouchers for breakfast and dinner at the on-site Guesthouse Grill. Jacuzzi rooms and studio suites are available, and Wi-Fi access is offered at no additional charge in each room and throughout the hotel. If you don't mind the constant drone from cars zipping past on nearby I-69, the vast courtyard offers a nice expanse of green space with benches, an outdoor pool and a cute little gazebo. There's also an indoor pool and exercise room where guests can go to burn off some of those complimentary meals. Since the 1940s, local businessman Don Hall has created something of a Fort Wayne empire with a series of popular restaurants bearing his name. The Guesthouse is Hall's only hotel operation. A popular local venue for wedding receptions, parties and other catered events, the Guesthouse includes a conference center, hospitality suites and a ballroom.
