Midwest Living Review
The website touts Zwanzigz's pizza first and foremost, but one look at the tall brewing tanks behind floor-to-ceiling windows lets customers know there’s more going on here than pepperoni. If you think beer really deserves to be considered its own food group, you’ve found a home here at Zwanzigz.
A flight of five sample glasses sparkles with quality brew in shades of light amber, robust red and potent dark chocolate. Flights are cleverly presented on a helpful placemat that describes exactly what you’re drinking, provides a thumbnail history of beer in general, and charts the characteristics of the different varieties.
Crusty breadsticks and cheese sauce (which really should have been warmed up before serving) make a good accompaniment to the beer tasting. You can also order plenty of pizza ($9.89 to $24.49 for 10- to 18-inch sizes), hoagies ($4.99), salads, calzones and other pizza-place staples.
