Midwest Living Review
The artsy 85-room Hotel Indigo is a welcome addition to historical downtown Columbus and perfectly in keeping with the town’s focus on unique architectural offerings. It’s clear this upscale yet affordable hotel pays attention to details; we were hooked from the moment we stepped into the lobby and saw the swanky Saarinen womb chairs. The hotel’s friendly resident dog, Miles, makes an adorable mascot, delighting younger guests; he even has his own e-mail address.
The colorful guest rooms (which regularly sell out during the week thanks to business travelers visiting Cummins Engine’s international headquarters just up the street) are equipped with comfy furniture, great artwork and sumptuous wood floors. Guests looking for a leisurely breakfast will want to check out the in-house Golden Bean cafe, serving scones, breakfast quesadillas and other tasty fare.
Room rates start at $116.
