Midwest Living Review
Just half a block from downtown Columbus, Indiana’s resurgent Washington Street shopping and dining district, 4th Street Bar and Grill pulls in locals and visitors with a friendly vibe, easy conversation, nightly drink specials, live music on Thursdays and Saturdays, and a menu that’s somewhat surprising.
For a neighborhood bar and grill, there are quite a few unexpected selections, like a mahi mahi taco ($8.95), Thai vegetarian wrap ($6.95), grilled polenta with wild mushrooms ($8.95), and a Korean BBQ burger garnished with housemade kimchi ($8.50). But that doesn’t mean you should ignore the classic breaded pork tenderloins ($7.95) that start big and only get better—crunchy; meaty and delicious; swathed in fresh lettuce, tomato and onion; and slathered with mayo.
If you’re from Columbus, chances are you already know this place well. If you’re not from Columbus, 4th Street Bar and Grill is just one more good reason to visit.
