Midwest Living Review
Not fancy but comfortable, this Hampton Inn location was remodeled in 2008, which gives it a fresh feel. Soft bedding and firm mattresses make for a luxurious night's sleep; bathrooms are standard but sparkling; amenities are the usual (pool, hot tub, workout room, Wi-Fi). The Wi-Fi worked only intermittently when we were there, and I-55 roars no matter which room you're in, but this branch of the rather ho-hum chain is a step up from others. The breakfast nook is cheery and well-stocked; you'll go on your way fortified and with a wave from the front desk. Rates from$119.
