Greek and Lebanese dishes for lunch and dinner hold the focus at family-friendly Andie's.
Andie's in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood is a friendly place: sunny interior, breezy white tablecloths, good service. Every meal starts off with basket of hot, soft pita bread. Kudos if you can wait to eat it with appetizers, which include favorites such as hummus, falafel, dolma and spinach pies. Vegetarians enjoy a good selection of main dishes, from lentil soup to stuffed artichokes or eggplant with couscous. Meat offerings include more than six kinds of kabob, seafood, and specialties such as Moroccan chicken with apricot and braised lamb shank. Entrees fall into the $10$15 range, a good deal when you consider the big portions.
