Midwest Living Review
From the sumptuous bedding to the espresso machine to the television embedded in the bathroom mirror, everything about the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago exudes luxury and class. This 339-bed hotel, which takes up the bottom third of the 92-story building, is based at an ideal location on the Chicago River. It keeps you just far enough away from the chaos of Michigan Avenue but gives you easy access to the Magnificent Mile. It also boasts a small park area, overflowing with prairie grasses and flowers, which provides a reprieve from the concrete jungle as well a great view of the building's modern facade. Inside, you'll find rooms that are Euro-modern. The bathrooms feature marble floors and walls, the dual sink is embedded in a marble counter top, and the shower is large enough to not need a door. From the pillow-padded bed, you have a great perch from which to watch the 50-inch, high-def flat-screen TV and the twinkling lights of the Second City's expansive Loop. Rates from $259.
