Broken Yolk Cafe

Nondescript on the ouside, Broken Yolk Caf overwhelms on the inside with vinyl, ceramic bunnies, artificial ivy and endless shadowboxes. Classic country blares out on the radio. The menu is simple caf food. We were disappointed with the Chuck Wagon, an unimaginative breakfast sandwich, and poor coffee, but locals rave about the pancakes. Service was unfriendly, although customers who appeared to be from the area seemed to get preferential treatment. It'd be difficult to recommend this spot, unless you are after a taste of local color.
