Alton Stained Glass Works

You'll find custom-made windows, clocks, cabinet doors, patio tables, planters and more at this shop on Alton's main street. There are some smaller, inexpensive items here too--such as necklaces for $10--that make unique gifts. Along with what's already in the shop, you can order windows to your design and size specifications. The owner learned stained glass-making in Venice, Italy,and teaches a variety of art glass classes, from glass mosaics to hot-glass bead making.
