Sterling Morgan's ornate white mansion is the centerpiece of Arbor Lodge State Park in Nebraska City, where the national foundation is based. Visitors take carriage tours of the grounds shaded by century-old trees.
Next door, you can overnight in the Arts-and-Crafts-style Lied Conference Center. Paths wind through the surrounding woods. Watch as wood chips from a grove of fast-growing trees on the property are converted into energy to heat and cool the center.
