Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad's Huckleberry Radio Hour

Flint, May -- November
Live, from the Colwell Opera House at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad, it's the "Huckleberry Radio Hour." The radio hour is a throw back to those old radio days with Foley artists, live musical entertainment, featured guest artists and the latest segment of "As the Village Turns." The 2009 schedule is: May 23, June 20, July 18, October 3 and November 28 with the broadcasts beginning at 7:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to learn how they can participate in the show. After each broadcast, hear the "Huckleberry Radio Hour" streamed online at www.geneseecountryparks.org. Festivals & Fireworks

St. Ignance - July 4 -- September 5
Fantastic Family Fun is waiting for you this summer at the Gateway to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the Straits of Mackinac! The magical harbor, downtown St. Ignace, will be the perfect backdrop for fun-filled days and spectacular nighttime shows. July 4 through September 5, every Saturday at dusk, we will host free fireworks shows on the bay. St. Ignace hosts many weekend summer festivals. Perhaps a fireworks cruise on the Straits will be the perfect ending of your day. Bring the whole family to the quaint and peaceful shore to make summertime memories to last a lifetime.

Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow

St. Ignace, August 29th -- 30th
Join us for a celebration of heritage and culture honoring the Native American families for the St. Ignace, Strait of Mackinac area, celebrating culture and history of the past and present. This event features a French Voyageur encampment display with historical narration and artifacts, re-enactors, traditional drumming and dancing, competitive Native dancing, Native Art and demonstrations, storytelling and entertainment. All of these displays will take place on the spectacular ground of the Father Marquette National Memorial and New France Discovery Center overlooking Mackinac Bridge View Park. Bring the whole family to share this unique American experience, in a summer of memories to last a lifetime.

Chesaning Christmas Candlelight Walk

Chesaning, November 27-28

Santa's Village - North Pole

Chesaning, November 27-- December 20
Young and old alike will enjoy a visit to the Enchanted Village, nestled snugly at the North Pole (also known as, Saginaw County Fairgrounds in Chesaning, MI).
