But resale shopping in Chicago genuinely surprised us: Prices are generally a third of retail, and plenty of pieces are new, or like new. Chicago's top consignment stores, including Selections (left), sell in-season, excellent-condition, designer-label merchandise. In one afternoon, it's easy to find clothes and accessories made by top designers at "can-you-believe-this?" prices. Want in on the action? Read on.

I absolutely love thrift and consignment stores. So much, that I started an online consignment and thrift shop. I sell gently used and new clothing for a great discount. I also work with local charity Bridge to Success. Check out their page of gorgeous clothing for sale. 65% of sales on that page go to Bridge to Success. I would love to hear your feedback, or if you ever wanted to do an article on online consignment stores, that would be great! http://www.LeThrift.com.
