South Bend Chocolate Company's Chocolate Cafe

Cake, cookies, ice cream, mocha. You're sure to find a temptation. While delectable, the offerings don't seem to be made on-site, which disappointed us a bit. But a plate of chocolate turtle cheesecake eased that feeling and was worth the calorie splurge. As you enjoy your chocolate, spend 5 or 10 minutes perusing the adjacent Chocolate Museum, which chronicles the history of this delicious ingredient. A plus: It features video clips of classics like the Lucy and Ethel chocolate-making debacle and Gene Wilder's version of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
