White Meat, No Heat Chili

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 2 cups water
- 1 15 to 16 ounce can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 14 1/2 ounce can stewed tomatoes, cut up (undrained)
- 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Sour cream, sliced pitted ripe olives, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and/or chopped green onions (optional)
Directions
1. In a large saucepan, brown turkey over medium heat until cooked through, breaking up with the back of a wooden spoon as it cooks. Stir in water, beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, dried onion, garlic powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt and ground black pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered 20 to 30 minutes or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
2. If you like serve with sour cream, sliced olives, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and/or chopped green onions.
