All the traditional Waldorf ingredients are here: apple, grapes, walnuts, celery and mayo. This is a great choice to pack for weekday lunches.


  • 2 cups chopped deli-roasted chicken
  • 1/2 cup sliced or chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped apple
  • 1/2 cup red or green grapes, halved
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (toasted, if you like)


  1. In a small bowl, stir together chicken, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, black pepper, apple, grapes and walnuts.
