Peanut Sauce with Veggies

finely grated fresh ginger

bottled hot pepper sauce

Chopped peanuts (optional)

Assorted vegetables (such as red pepper strips, cherry tomatoes, radishes, baby carrots, sugar snap peas, celery and cucumber sticks, or blanched broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, and green beans or haricots verts)
Directions
- In a food processor or blender, combine peanut butter, hoisin sauce, water, green onions, lime juice, soy sauce, ginger and hot pepper sauce. Cover and process or blend until smooth. Add additional water, if necessary, to thin the sauce to a dipping consistency. Transfer to bowl. Cover and chill up to 48 hours. To serve, top with peanuts, if you like, and serve with vegetables. Makes about 1-1/2 cups (12, 2-tablespoon servings).
