Ingredients

  • 2  cups heavy cream or whipping cream (not ultra pasteurized)
  • 2  tablespoons buttermilk

Directions

1. In a small glass bowl, stir together heavy cream or whipping cream (not ultra-pasteurized) and buttermilk. Cover with plastic wrap. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving time or up to 3 days. Stir before serving. Makes 2 cups.
