Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 large apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups frozen, unsweetened, pitted, dark sweet cherries, thawed and drained
  • 2 cups frozen, unsweetened, peach slices, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1 large orange, peeled, halved and sliced

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Set aside.

2. In a 2- or 2-1/2-quart casserole, combine apple, pear, and pineapple. Pour brown sugar mixture over fruit.

3. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree F oven about 25 minutes or until fruit is crisp-tender.

4. Stir in cherries, peach slices, and grapes. Bake about 15 minutes more or until heated through. Stir in halved orange slices. Serve warm. Makes 8 servings.
