Iowa's Rapid Creek Cidery makes this fizzy, lemony gin cocktail with cider replacing the French 75's traditional champagne.
gin, preferably Hendrick's
highly carbonated dry hard cider, such as Angry Orchard Dry
- In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon juice and simple syrup. Cover and shake until very cold. Strain into a chilled champagne glass. Top with cider. Garnish with a lemon twist.
- *Simple Syrup: In a screw-top jar, combine equal amounts of sugar and water. Cover and shake well until sugar is dissolved.
