Blender Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh-cut fruit, cake slices, and whipped cream (optional)
Directions
1. In a food processor or blender, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cover and process or blend for 15 seconds. Stop the machine and scrape sides with spatula. Process the mixture for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes more or until the blueberry skins are almost smooth.
2. Serve the sauce over pancakes or as an ice cream topping. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to 3 days; bring to room temperature and stir before serving. If you like, spoon over fresh fruit and cake slices topped with whipped cream. Makes 3 cups.







This was SUPER easy to make and everyone loves the taste. Great on angel food cake, and a nice change from maple syrup on pancakes. Will be making this one again.
