Garden flavor infuses this refreshing make-ahead white wine cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1 750 - milliliter bottle Sauvignon Blanc, chilled
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced
  • 2 small limes, sliced
  • 2 cups green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint sprigs, loosely packed
  • Ice
  • 1 cup white grape juice, chilled
  • 2 12 - ounce bottles seltzer water, chilled

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher combine the wine, half of the cucumber, half of the limes, 1 cup of the grapes and 1/4 cup of the mint. Using a wooden spoon, press cucumber, lime, grapes and mint against the side of the pitcher to crush slightly. Chill both the wine mixture and the remaining cucumber, limes and grapes, covered, for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. When ready to serve, use a slotted spoon to remove solids from wine; discard solids. Add ice, grape juice, the remaining cucumber, lime, grapes, and mint. Add the seltzer. Stir gently just until combined. Serve immediately.
