Go-for-it-Garlic Cheese Grits
Bake: 15 mins at 350°F
Ingredients
- 1 cup hominy grits (not quick-cooking)
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (8 ounces)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey jack cheese (6 ounces)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- Paprika
Directions
1. Cook the grits in unsalted water according to the package directions.
2. Stir the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic into grits. Transfer the mixture to a greased 1-1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with paprika.
3. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until theyre heated through and cheeses melt.
