Try this creamy blend on a green salad with chicken or shrimp, or use it in a pasta salad with cherry tomatoes. We also like it drizzled over grilled or steamed asparagus. Although this dressing tastes creamy, you won't miss the fat because you get rich flavor from the pesto, while Greek yogurt adds protein and calcium.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons prepared basil pesto
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, pesto, and pepper. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
