slices party rye or white bread
Fresh herbs (we liked chives, oregano or basil), and/or sliced radishes, cucumber, green onion tops or olives (optional)
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine roast beef, cream cheese, green onion, black pepper and mace. Cover and chill up to 24 hours.
- To assemble canapes, spread 1 to 2 teaspoons of the beef spread on top of each bread slice. If you like, garnish with fresh herbs or other toppings as you like. Makes 24 canapes.
